NEW TEXT ON ORGANIC LEGISLATION IN STUDY

This week, the Working Group (WG) meeting to evaluate the contributions to the new text of the Normative Instruction that regulates the Organic Systems of Animal Production took place at the Ministry of Agriculture, in Brasília.

Partiipated in the group Claudimir Sanches, Fabiana Nobre and Cristina Bustamante from the Ministry of Agriculture and Luiz Carlos Demattê, Fabio Ramos and Angela Escosteguy from the Thematic Chamber of Agriculture (CTAO). The WG analyzed 240 contributions that came from all over Brazil.

All the effort was made to improve the norms that regulate the organic sector that grows in Brazil and in the world, attending to the needs and demands of the producers, consumers, businessmen of the sector, environment and animal welfare.
